Note: Due to the high demand of Math, sciences and computer science courses, visiting students may potentially be removed from specific classes in order to accommodate matriculating students. Special permission cannot be granted for closed courses.

Drop period with a "W" grade - either online or in person at the Registrar's Office, ASB Bldg, Rm. 200B, Busch Campus.  You cannot drop your last class or withdraw completely from school via Webreg.  You must notify your dean's office to cancel your registration.

Final Exams


You may use Webreg to drop courses or cancel your schedule prior to the beginning of a semester and receive 100% refund.  You cannot drop your last class via Webreg after the Friday prior to classes beginning.   You must notify the Division of Continuing Studies if you wish to withdraw from the university after the drop/add period. The refund schedule for complete withdrawal is as follows:

  • First two weeks of classes: 80%
  • Third and fourth week of classes:   60%
  • Fifth and sixth week of classes:  40%
  • Thereafter - 0%

Students withdrawing from their entire program of courses will receive "W" grades and a prorated refund (if applicable). All official drops/withdraws after the designated dates require approval from the Office of Continuing Studies. In all refund situations, the student, campus and course fees are not refundable.

Failure to attend class is not equivalent to a withdrawal.
